Addressing Inequities in COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Efforts

Hospital and health system leaders and caregivers must work hard to build trust within these communities and engage in strategies that will be effective in overcoming vaccine hesitancy.

To support the important COVID-19 vaccination effort, the American Hospital Association is expanding on existing alliances and building new collaborative efforts to disseminate and amplify accurate, accessible information to communities most impacted by the pandemic. We’ve compiled resources to assist hospitals and health systems address the specific needs of various patient populations to engender trust and empower informed decision-making that can protect individuals, loved ones, and those disproportionately suffering from COVID-19.
