The Affordable Care Act (ACA), signed into law March 23, 2010, is landmark legislation that represents the greatest change in healthcare since the adoption of Medicaid in 1965. Recent attempts in Congress have sought to repeal and replace the ACA, but without success. 

IHA urges members to ask their U.S. Representative and Senators to protect federal resources for Illinois, ensure access to healthcare and address the drastic hospital payment reductions in the ACA.
