To address a significant member issue in the Medicaid Managed Care program, IHA engaged the Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans (IAMHP) to create a universal “provider roster.”

The provider roster is the document submitted by providers to the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) for:

  • Use in claims payment and in their directory;
  • Care coordination efforts; and
  • In a number of instances, to address the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements as part of their updated federal regulations’ guiding information provided to Medicaid enrollees.

The MCOs began accepting the universal provider roster on June 15, 2018.

In collaboration with IAMHP, IHA will be hosting three complimentary webinars to assist members in understanding the new template.

During each webinar, MCO roster experts will provide a live demonstration of the new template and walk participants through the roster instructions. Members will have an opportunity to ask questions during a live question-and-answer session.

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the form from the people who created it and to ask compliance questions of those who will implement it.

IHA members are encouraged to participate in one of these three webinars led by IHA and IAMHP staff.

Who this is for

  • Individuals who collect and submit provider information to MCOs
  • Individuals responsible for provider enrollment and credentialing
  • Medical staff personnel
  • Staff from credentialing verification organizations who work with provider enrollment information
