Attestation Required for Provider Relief Fund Distributions

June 18, 2020
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is in the process of distributing Provider Relief Funds related to the second general distribution. Providers were required to apply for additional general distribution funds by submitting revenue information by June 3. Each eligible provider that completed this process should receive a total general distribution of approximately 2% of net patient revenue.

As a reminder, providers must attest to all funds received from the Provider Relief Fund, including funds that are allocated to hospital subsidiaries (for example, hospital-owned physician practices) and targeted distributions (e.g., high impact, rural, and safety net distributions). Providers have 90 days from receipt of funds to attest and accept the Terms and Conditions.

The attestation portal can be found here. For more information, see an IHA memo.
