Current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) figures show a total of 15,219 confirmed and presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 in the U.S. in 54 states and U.S. territories, with 201 deaths reported.
President Trump announced today that the tax deadline for all filers is now July 15. He also said that the U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico boarders will be closed to non-essential travel.
The latest WHO situation report shows more than 209,000 COVID-19 cases globally, with over 8,700 deaths. The Western Pacific Region has the most cases with more than 92,300 confirmed cases and over 3,370 deaths. The European Region ranks second with more than 87,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases and over 4,000 deaths.
