With hospitals and health systems devoting countless hours to fighting COVID-19, IHA has decided to suspend our annual IHA Quality Excellence Achievement Awards this year. We plan to resume with the Quality Awards in 2021.
Two factors drove our decision to postpone the Quality Awards: the tremendous commitment of members in fighting COVID-19 and the uncertainty of the next few months, which coincides with the award application period.
Despite not having this opportunity to recognize members, IHA is working to communicate hospitals’ aggressive response to fighting the virus and compassionate care of patients through our “Going the Distance” digital campaign.
