Still No Deal on COVID-19 Relief Legislation

Aug. 14, 2020

Both the U.S. Senate and House have left Washington, DC for several weeks without reaching an agreement on the next COVID-19 relief package. The Senate is not scheduled to return until Sept. 8, the House until Sept. 14. However, if the White House and Congressional Democrats are able to reach a deal before Sept. 8, Senators would get at least 24 hours notice to return.
